Writing a statement of intent Paragraph 1: How they intend to use media language to communicate meanings through their selection of forms, codes and conventions. I plan to select a typography using Dafont.com which is conventional of the grime genre. The masthead will be the key iconography to help the audience identify the brand. This will need to be bold and appeal to the teenage target audience. I will use a variety images, ensuring my main image uses direct address to engage the reader.
